herbal medicineMuch has been heard of this alternative practice. But what really is Reiki? What can we use it?

Reiki is a compound word of Japanese origin meaning universal life energy. “Rei” means “universal” and refers to the cosmic energy. “Ki” refers to individual life energy that surrounds and flows through all living things keeping them alive. Reiki is called the method that meets these two energies to healing.

It is a completely natural method that helps restore and maintain physical, mental and spiritual.

Who could do Reiki?

We are all trained to do, from a child to an elder. Anyone can become a channel of healing energy through our hands. But this requires going through an initiation, where a Reiki master watches us with universal life energy. From then on, we are apt to pass Reiki.

How we do it?

Simply placing your hands on the affected area or energy centers called chakras also. Can be used both to treat yourself as well as in the treatment of other people, plants and animals.

There are three levels of Reiki:

* Level I or physical, in which the insider can transmit power only with the imposition of hands.

* Level II or mental disability, the person is suitable for transmitting power from a distance.

* Level III corresponds to the degree of master.

This energy therapy does not replace conventional medicine, as conventional medicine does not replace the energy therapy, they complement and coexist with the aim of improving the lives of human beings.

Reiki practice is incorporated into the context of alternative therapeutic practices recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO)
