Many years ago, no one worried about cellulite. In fact, no one heard the term used to describe dimpled skin until women’s fashion magazines started using the term. While cellulite can be present on men and women, it is mainly seen on women. Cellulite is not limited to the overweight. There are super skinny fashion models who have cellulite.
There are many reasons that cellulite occurs, and even doctors have differing opinions. Not that the reason helps those who want to know how to get rid of cellulite. Diet is commonly thought to be a factor. Too much fat, too much alcohol, and too much salt in a diet are often blamed. The lack of and even high heeled shoes have been blamed for cellulite. Some women do manage to rid themselves of cellulite by eating a healthy diet and engaging in regular exercise.
For the rest of us who can’t diet and exercise those dimples and ripples away, there are cellulite treatment that work. A few of the many brands on the market have really proven effective at smoothing the skin and getting rid of the cottage cheese appearance of women’s thighs, rear end, even arms. Smoother, tighter skin is really possible if you do some research before running out and buying any old ream. Only a few actually work as promised, the rest are just a waste of time and money.
