Get Rid of the Right Fat with the HCG Diet Plan

Posted by admin | August 17th, 2010 in HCG Diet | No Comments »

Fat is fat, right? Wrong. The HCG diet plan is immensely popular because it helps people lose the bad fat, while retaining the good fat along with muscle mass. The human body basically has 3 types of fat and crash diets target our good fat, the fat we need. HCG targets the bad fat, the fat that makes us look fat.

So, what are the three kinds of fat? There is structural fat and reserve fat, both of which we all have and need. Structural fat cushions our internal organs. It is also on the bottoms of our feet and in the palms of our hands. Without it, we would be very uncomfortable. Reserve fat is what our bodies store for quick energy. It is evenly spread out, and also necessary for energy. If you had none, you would get intense cravings for sugar, sound familiar?

Last is the bad fat, called abnormal fat. This is why people take HCG diet drops, they target this fat. Abnormal fat is just excess fat that a person never uses. It resides mainly in the belly area, thighs, hips, and upper arms. HCG tells the body to tap this fat for energy, not your reserve fat. A pot belly is the perfect example of abnormal fat. Crash diets without HCG target all three kinds of fat, while HCG only targets abnormal fat, the fat we want to lose.
